Job Description
As part of the Point of Sale Fraud Strategy team, the Mass Market Executive Director will lead a team of strategy managers and analysts with the responsibility of managing fraud losses across Chase Credit and Debit Card Token portfolios. The Executive Director will set the strategic vision to manage complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of fraud trends, and the development of mitigation strategies. They will also be responsible to for driving a strong culture of controls to ensure a strong operational and risk environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a small team of quantitative analysts and quantitative people leaders.
  • Manage Credit Card and Debit Card portfolios balancing fraud losses and customer experience within expected budgetary and performance thresholds
  • Provide regular leadership, coaching, & development to members of the team in leveraging data to solve business problems
  • Leverage expertise and build collaborative relationships
  • Proactively seeks, finds, and recommends opportunities to improve fraud detection, customer experience, operational expenses, and processes within the organization
  • Provide data driven and concise updates to senior leadership on fraud performance, key initiatives, etc.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's and / or Master's degree (OR related work experience) in a quantitative discipline preferably in a financial services organization
  • 10+ years experience in fraud/risk/payments or related field
  • Capable of leading large organizations and balancing competing priorities/interests
  • Proven track record developing complex statistical analysis and frameworks to solve business problems in a well-organized, structured approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with individuals across departments / functions and with senior-level executives
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of financial services
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, energetic environment, and to adapt to changes quickly.
