Oracle Application Data Analyst
What does a great Oracle Application Data Analyst do?
- Coordinate database changes submitted by Application developers for Production Release with Production DBAs. Apply updates to lower environments.
- Coordinate database patching and upgrades with production DBAs.
- Analyze SQL additions/changes in applications for efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Analyze data projects from merchants and account managers, coordinate activities to apply changes, and execute changes in production and non-production environments.
- Analyze reports of replication out of sync across multiple databases and resolve missing data or data collisions.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Experience analyzing SQL performance and execution plans.
- Experience constructing SQL for client-request data retrieval, reporting, and data modification.
- Experience with Dataguard, Shareplex, or Goldengate replication would be helpful, but not essential.
- Work with Team members toward agreeable designs implementing performance-focused problem solutions.
- Support diagnosis of data-related production incidents and reliably apply data updates as needed, on demand to resolve critical, merchant-impacting issues.
- Works under supervision to the completion of routine or administrative tasks following established procedures.
- 2-4 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience and/or military experience
