The Role

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to help build Circulo’s knowledge graph -- the central hub for all enterprise intelligence. In this role, you’ll help lead the design, development, and evolution of our graph ecosystem, from data ingestion to the provisioning of data products derived via graph algorithms. We’re looking for people who are energized by our mission to harness emerging digital technologies to eliminate friction in the healthcare system and provide better care to the nation’s most underserved populations. In this role, your fingerprints will be all over the key data assets and infrastructure that make it all possible.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and continually enhance the functionality of our data ecosystem, working closely with software engineers, scientists, and dev ops
• Lead the design and development of graph nlp pipelines to build state-of-art graph applications using a variety of internal and external sources, and to provision key information from the graph to downstream applications and users
• Work with business partners to evolve the graph data model to achieve better business outcomes
• Equip other engineers and business users to load, query and explore data in the knowledge graph
• Develop engines to perform entity extraction and entity linking to the knowledge graph

Who We Are Looking For

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of academic or industry experience developing ML and NLP applications.
• Experience with ML/DL frameworks and libraries (Scikit learn, tensorflow, pytorch)
• Experience with building search applications and inference engines(ontologies, indexing, semantic search,GPT-3,BERT, graph embeddings, etc.)
• Experience with semantic and symbolic approaches for NLP applications
• Good understanding of latest research in the Graph Embedding, Deep Learning algorithms and libraries (DGL, GCNN, MLLib)Strong understanding of graph algorithms (shortest path, deep traversals, etc.) and analytics (centrality, PageRank, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services
• Familiarity with one or more graph databases, either Property Graphs (Neo4j, TigerGraph, etc. ) or RDF stores (Stardog, Neptune, etc.) and any one of the graph query languages (Cypher, SPARQL, GSQL)
• Familiarity with Data Intensive Applications including OLAP vs OLTP, ACID, CAP Theorem, Sharding, Indexing and Batch/Stream Processing
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to understand processes and outcomes
• Comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment, and the ability to consistently revise your approach in response to new information
