The Medical Economics Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support for Aetna Medicaid's Pharmacy team. The position evaluates,tracks and reports the financial impact of cost containment initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and reports financial impact of pharmacy cost savings initiatives
- Own, track and document all aspects of related work from beginning to end of its life cycle
- Contributes to a motivated work environment by working effectively to achieve common goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical experience working with pharmacy utilization and cost data
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivots, dynamic visualizations)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong SQL and/or SAS programming
- Strong problem-solving skills and clinical thinking ability
Education
Bachelors degree required.
