Market Research Consumer Insights, Manager
Capital One is seeking an Insights Manager to join our Card Insights team. This group provides consumer insights that inform products, services, experiences and marketing strategies for our credit card and adjacent businesses, including acquiring new customers and engaging existing customers. In this role, you will be aligned to multiple cross-functional business and marketing teams and charged with proactively developing high impact Learning Agendas and then executing those agendas via research vendors and DIY research platforms.

In this role you will uncover impactful insights that drive strategy and decision making. To do this you will...
- Proactivity identify and lead research to support product development and go-to-market strategies and tactics, including the optimization of marketing communications
- Actively seek and evaluate new approaches for unearthing insights
- Maintain a network with internal partners to identify and prioritize research needs, including developing and managing learning agendas
- Effectively integrate primary research, customer data, secondary sources, and marketplace intelligence in analyses to tell holistic stories
- Leverage a network of research suppliers and employ DIY approaches (e.g., Qualtrics) to execute studies
- Present and socialize insights to business partners and senior leadership that drive business decisions
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing research / consumer insights role (vendor or corporate side) that includes designing, planning and executing market research
- At least 3 years experience with statistical analysis and modeling
- At least 2 years of relationship management
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of financial services experience
- Experience with Qualtrics or Decipher research platforms
- Experience in SQL, Tableau, SPSS or STATA
This role may require occasional travel.
