With services guided by empathy, innovation and cutting-edge technology, we’re building the future of care focused on better health for the people we serve. Circulo Health is putting humanity back in health. We’ve built a team of talented, enthusiastic professionals. Join us today.

The Role

Circulo is seeking a Manager of Master Data Management who is excited by the prospect of owning, building, and continuously improving Circulo’s data management capabilities for master and reference data. The Manager will design and evolve Circulo’s master and reference data management strategy, and grow and lead a team of developers, data stewards, and data engineers in designing and implementing solutions to ensure high-quality master and reference data for the enterprise. We’re looking for people who are energized by the opportunities inherent in this role, and by our mission to harness emerging digital technologies to eliminate friction in the healthcare system and provide better care to the nation’s most underserved populations.

What you will do

  • You will own and lead the overall design, development, and evolution of Circulo’s master and reference data management capabilities and practices.
  • You will guide a team of talented and dedicated engineers, data stewards, and MDM developers to develop, implement, and continuously improve the match, merge, and survivorship rules for multiple domains and the system integrations to enable.
  • You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers at Circulo to explore opportunities to leverage AI/Ml techniques to automate and improve upon our master data management solutions and build advanced entity resolution capabilities.
  • You will grow and lead the data management team focused on building and maintaining robust processes to curate trustworthy data records for multiple entities, including, but not limited to, Circulo patients and providers.
  • You will lead by example, mentor the team of individual contributors, and establish credibility through quality technical execution.
  • You will lead the team in building, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing data models, workflows, and processes to profile, cleanse, standardize, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • You will develop a strategic roadmap for the master data management function at Circulo, and identify the resources to effectively execute the roadmap.
  • With your team, you will plan and execute complex projects involving multiple technical and business stakeholders and active partners, and periodically report on the status of projects, resolving roadblocks independently when feasible.
  • You will participate in product discussions, influence the technical roadmap and take ownership and responsibility for new projects to make them happen.
  • You will champion best practices and standards within the team, and in the broader engineering organization.
  • You will provide advisory support and guidance on engagements and drive business objectives, continuous improvements, and best practices within and across teams.
  • You will facilitate thorough, clear, concise documentation of the above.
  • You will influence senior leaders/engineers across teams on data management principles, particularly for master data, and you will cultivate awareness of changes across the company to anticipate challenges and proactively implement solutions.
  • You will mentor individual contributors and manage career development.

Who we are looking for

  • Experience developing a robust system of data management for enterprise master and reference data in the healthcare domain, including mastering patient and provider records
  • Experience with designing and architecting integrations between MDM platforms and other systems using standard connectors, publish-subscribe patterns, and other mechanisms
  • Strong command of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, integration testing, deployment, and post production support
  • Demonstrated experience with defining and implementing best practices for data governance and quality assurance
  • Experience working with data in multiple formats, including JSON and XML, and data aligned to healthcare-specific standards, such as HL7v2 and FHIR
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment, and the ability to consistently revise your approach in response to new information
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field is preferred
