Lead Analyst, Growth Product Analytics
About the role
We’re hiring a Lead Analyst who will focus on supporting the strategic growth initiatives within growth product analytics. Through user funnel analysis, data science modeling, forecasting, and dashboards development, you will surface product insights and recommendations that will increase enrollments, conversions, referrals, and retention of our members. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining multiple growth forecasts for our products and exploring new potential growth opportunities. In this role, you will work closely with growth product managers and engineers to foster our data-driven product development culture and inform our product roadmaps and create a deep understanding of member behavior.
This job cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect to
- Develop and maintain one or more growth forecasts
- Assemble and support a process focused on continuous planning in collaboration with product and engineeringÂ
- Explore new strategic growth opportunities, defining key metrics used to size potential impact and measure successÂ
- Build a deeper understanding of user behaviors in all stages of the member lifecycle, from enrollment through to retention, and identify the corresponding business opportunities for Chime
- Partner with product, engineering, marketing, research, and design to translate your data insights into features
- Support experimentation by providing guidance on the experiments that should be run, how they should be run, and evaluating our key metrics’ impact
- Foster a data-driven, test-and-learn culture with your passion for telling stories with data
To thrive in this role, you have
- A quantitative degree in a field like Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Engineering. Advanced degrees preferred
- 7+ years in analytics. B2C product analytics and FinTech experience preferred
- Strong SQL skills - familiarity with window functions would be a good sign
- Data science and forecasting skills - experience optimizing features or predicting changes in key metrics
- Experience with a scripting language like Python or R
- Experience building metric frameworks to understand user behaviors
- Experience defining and implementing analytics planning processes within complex product organizations
- Experience with experimentation, statistical analysis, or opportunity sizing used to guide decision making
- Excellent communication skills, a record of working cross-functionally to achieve results
