Job Description

IT Senior Architect, Business Intelligence & Analytics

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Sr. Developer, Business Intelligence and Analytics to join our growing IT team! Our ideal candidate has a strong background in identifying solutions amidst large and complex data sets and the ability to transform insights into strategic opportunities. The senior developer will work closely with business leaders across financial planning, accounting, tax and regulatory, sourcing and procurement and will translate business requirements into high value analytic solutions and data driven insights.

 In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Build data architecture for financial modeling using GCP/BigQuery, SAP Analytics Cloud, Oracle/OBIEE and similar Analytics engine.
  • ·Build data visualization, dashboards, workbooks, planning simulations using Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan or SAP Analytics Cloud (as applicable).
  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of data models, operational reports, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and technical processes to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Deliver in an agile environment using JIRA and related tools from Atlassian Suite.
  • Explore industry leading BI solutions, BI tools, and Machine Learning methodologies to create deep insights that serve as a competitive different 


Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on experience in analyzing complex data set, developing data models, and building operational reports and high value data insights, on large-scale cloud data platforms (Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse Analytics) or data warehouse.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or 5-6 years of equivalent work experience.
  • High level of proficiency to create views, data consumption layers using advanced SQL.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced competency in Google Looker/LookML, Microsoft Power BI including ability to transform data, develop charts and tables, develop complex measures and interactive dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience in deploying large scale applications in Multi Cloud environment (GCP or Azure)
  • Be able to identify business problems and develop analytical techniques to provide solutions for finance and accounting.
  • Has working knowledge of agile/scrum delivery and Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Zephyr.
  • Be able to operate in a fast-paced environment with laser focus on delivering results. Self-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple clients, and cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with strategic partners at multiple levels to drive alignment and influence key decisions.
  • Ability to successfully prioritize initiatives and manage multiple competing priorities with ease
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate complex concepts effectively

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Proficiency in Machine Learning languages, such as, Python, TensorFlow, R, etc.
  • Experience of using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, Random Forest, etc.
