The Impact You’ll Be Contributing to Moloco:

The GTM team at Moloco defines, designs, and executes on the commercial strategy for the company. The team is responsible for identifying, sizing, and segmenting the opportunity, determining how our sales and business development teams go after it, and enabling them to be successful at doing so. We are alumni from top consulting companies, mobile disruptors, big tech, and ad tech leading organizations, and we optimize for growth for each of us and for the company. Within the GTM org, the Business Analytics team provides the analytical expertise needed to define and drive our ambitious growth roadmap. Team members use a data-driven approach to develop a deep understanding of our dynamic business, find opportunities for growth, and improve efficiencies and productivity. The team partners closely with other parts of the GTM org, including the GTM Design, Sales Operations, and Sales Activation teams, as well as cross-functional teams like Sales, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Growth. Insights Analysts directly own high visibility strategic initiatives, and have direct exposure to executives and cross-functional leaders.

(Remote job status on some job sites is to allow for applying from select locations and will still require coming to a local office on an as needed basis. Locations we are considering applicants from include: San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Seattle.)

Here’s what you’ll be working on:

  • Translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations through sophisticated analysis and modeling
  • Design and build reports, dashboards and tools to give GTM and sales teams visibility into key business metrics and improve productivity
  • Streamline our use of data by creating pipelines and data layers that inform critical analysis and reporting
  • Investigate performance issues or surprising trends in the business
  • Support the team in ongoing analysis of opportunities for revenue growth, market penetration, customer retention, sales productivity and product features

Here is what you need to succeed:

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative area, such as economics, computer science, mathematics, or statistics, or equivalent applied experience
  • 3+ years of quantitative analysis/BI experience in tech, finance, marketing, consulting or similar
  • Expertise in working with large datasets, with strong spreadsheet and database query knowledge (e.g. Excel, SQL)
  • Proven track record of creating easy-to-use, actionable dashboards, reports and tools
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and teams
  • Bonus Points: 
    • Previous experience in the mobile and/or startup space
    • Statistics expertise and packages like R, Stata etc
