This position is part of the Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure Subchapter and a member of the VIP dedicated support team that provides white glove IT support to the upper levels of leadership in Washington D.C. This customer facing role offers great visibility with both Functional and IT management, and the unique opportunity to interface with Chevron's most executive leadership. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent problem solving and customer service skills who is able to present themselves well to executive leaders. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of technologies and will help the successful candidate build a strong network within Chevron.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

  • The position will be responsible for providing in-region support for ITFP - Workforce Enablement Operations including Identifying high priority issues, concerns, escalations, providing guidance and resolutions, serve as the Global Service Desk (GSD) customer experience champion and participate as a core team member in GSD Modernization automation initiatives.
  • Dedicated Level 2 IT support for Executives. Troubleshooting hardware or software related issues for PC's, Peripherals/printers, Mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, satellite phones, etc.), Executive Video/Audio Conference Support, Office 365, Application support - GIL/non-GIL & proprietary software and Encryption and access management support
  • Evaluation of new hardware/software/services in the executive space, participation in pilot programs for new technologies, support for executive video and audio-conferencing solutions,
    IRM & IP Coordination, Training of VIPs and VIP Admins on new software/hardware implementation and best use practices/procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • 3- 5 years of related work experience
  • An AS degree or higher, in technology or a related business discipline Quantified experience
  • Knowledge of IT and delivering IT Services
  • Excellent time management, organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) complex thoughts and
    ideas with management, partners and colleagues, including stakeholders
  • Strong customer facing support skills. Ability to tailor message based on type of audience (e.g. technical resource vs. executive).
  • Proven ability in a fast-paced environment where quick, decisive, deliberate, and effective solutions must be made on a day-to-day basis, strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Related Microsoft certification(s), or other related vendor or IT certifications
  • Demonstrated ability to collect customer requirements and rapidly assess,
    document needs, and translate to solutions based on established architecture
    and design standards.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a global team to maintain alignment with platform/product line goals and chapter initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Incident and Problem Management processes (ITILv4 preferred)
