HRIS Senior Analyst Summary:
The HRIS Sr. Analyst is responsible for collaborating with the HR Centers of Excellence to implement business requirements for system enhancements intended to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Talent Management, particularly the Learning and Performance processes, within the Firm. The HRIS Sr. Analyst uses deep knowledge of the Cornerstone Talent Management applications and their interaction with other HCM modules to research and configure robust solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. The HRIS Sr. Analyst works with the Talent Technology team on the implementation of those solutions. In addition, the HRIS Sr. Analyst provides system support and is the key contact for HR functional stakeholders for Learning and Performance, as well as training members of the Talent team on new and established processes.

Essential Duties
- Engages customers to understand needs and gather business requirements, performs task and workflow analysis, identifies pain points and process improvement opportunities.
- Documents business requirements and validates with stakeholders to ensure they align with their business functional goals.
- Works with stakeholders to prioritize requirements and secure their approval.
- Breaks down user requirements into functional specifications, including scope, approach, deliverables to be produced, and configuration and/or development tasks to be performed.
- Manages issues and changes to baselined requirements by identifying business impact and applying standard change control processes.
- Configures, tests and performs rollout of system enhancements including security modifications as appropriate.
- Becomes the system subject matter expert to internal business and HR functional leaders and teams in order to coordinate enablement of new release features, identify best practices and assist in the development and delivery of end user training.
- Develops reports as requested by business users to augment the Talent Management applications.
- Provides on-going support of the Talent Management applications.
- Provides knowledge transfer to other Talent Technology team members and system administrators.
- Designs new business processes as appropriate in response to customer needs
- Efficiently troubleshoots and remediates Talent Technology application issues when possible; manages service tickets with IT, internal units or external application vendors (e.g. Cornerstone) as needed to resolve issues. Tracks recurring problems and recommends system configuration changes as needed.
- Proactively researches newly released system features and enhancements that may increase the effectiveness of the Firm's Talent Technology ecosystem. Provides coaching and training regarding Talent Technology applications to other team members.
- Special projects, as assigned, related to researching, specifying, configuring, testing and implementing new Talent Technology processes and automation
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years relevant experience required
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and related tools preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Advanced working knowledge of HCM/Talent Management systems is required; specifically Cornerstone Learning and Performance experience is strongly preferred
- Ability to think analytically to solve complex problems and issues required
- Ability to establish and document business and system workflows required
- Working knowledge of App Dev Ops or other project tracking tool preferred
- One-on-one and small group training skills required
- Ability to stay calm under pressure required
- Ability to shift and refocus priorities required
- Development tools/languages including SQL, Microsoft Excel, XML, Visio and HTML preferred
- Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), or other similar reporting or analytics tool experience preferred
