The Marketing Decision Science team at Salesforce is looking for a self-starter to fill the role of Global Event and Brand Experience Data Operations Manager. This is a key role for a results-oriented person with the ability to communicate effectively, encourage sound decision-making, and support the teams they work with to deliver on mutual commitments.
What you'll do:
Collaboratively craft and implement a standard operating model centered on process and efficiency to operationalize manual data integrations
Maintain KLO (Keep the Lights On) of current manual data integrations
Working with the Senior Manager of Data Ops, collaboratively develop a move forward plan to automate and integrate manual data integrations
Design business and data flow diagrams using LucidChart
Develop relationships across the Marketing organization, as well as Business Technology to advocate for the best customer experience possible
Design, implement, and monitor key processes that ensure the future sustainability and quality of the support we provide to our customers
Manage change effectively with clear lines of communications, cadences, and updates
Manage risk by making thoughtful decisions in uncertain environments
Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams/team members
Identify and remove impediments that block the team's ability to meet project objectives
Responsible for ongoing data governance including data changes and new data additions
What you should have:
An understanding of how to facilitate data discussions with stakeholders who may not be as familiar with data processes
An understanding of the Salesforce Sales Cloud Data Model
Experience managing work for multiple teams/stakeholders/team members
A curiosity to find opportunities to improve. You devour data anywhere and everywhere you can find it, and you use it to build a picture of what to tackle next. And, when data isn't available, you roll up your sleeves and work until you find what you need.
An ability to identify areas where resources fall short of needs and provide thoughtful and sustainable solutions to benefit the team
Expertise in explaining ambiguous problems succinctly and clearly

You have proven experience working with teams across multiple departments and time zones
You have 3 to 5 years experience working with cross functional teams
4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
Strong Excel skills required
Familiarity working with large data sets (100K rows+)
Experience with LucidChart, Asana, Smartsheets, Alteryx nice to have
Salesforce Sales Cloud Admin Certification or relevant experience preferred
