Exercise Analyst, Senior
Key Role:
Lead the design, development, execution, and analysis of exercises, wargames, tabletop exercises, and other experiences for a range of participants from senior government and military leaders to C-Suite leaders, action officers, and corporate managers. Lead stakeholder working groups tasked with the design and development of exercise constructs. Consult on the delivery of analytic tasks associated with these events, including shaping of objectives, crafting of wargaming constructs, authoring of scenarios, facilitation of participant discussions, overseeing logistics, and authoring of after-action reports and briefings. Assist with the application of course of action analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes and procedures to craft experiences that allow participants to test assumptions in a minimal-risk environment and gain stakeholder buy-in. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members. This position requires the ability to travel up to 30% of the time to client sites.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience with emergency management, cybersecurity policy, analysis, or incident management
- Experience with leading and facilitating meetings for professional audiences
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse client and internal audiences via presentations and written materials
- Ability to lead components of larger tasks
- Ability to work independently and with small to medium-sized teams
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and internationally
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with planning and executing workshops, seminars, exercises, or wargames
- Experience with inter-agency working groups
- Ability to contribute to business development and new business opportunities by preparing statements of work and responding to requests for proposals
- Ability to foster business relationships with clients and colleagues to successfully achieve project outcomes and meet the demands of client expectations and project team needs
