Job Description
  • Manage team responsible for procurement of hardware, software, and services for global data centers
  • Develop and execute a supply chain strategy, that delivers cloud infrastructure hardware, software, and services that are cost-effective, flexible, scalable, and on time
  • Work with other functional business leaders in Capacity Management, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, and Finance to improve the forecasting process and overall planning execution to support organizational priorities
  • Develop strategic relationships with equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and value-added resellers (VARs) to ensure timely delivery of goods and services at the best possible price and quality
  • Identify and lead process improvement and automation efforts to enable organizational growth and scalability
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and work with the vendors and strategic sourcing organization to achieve cost-saving targets
  • Monitor the quarterly and annual spending of the global cloud organization against budget and forecast identifying inefficiencies and proposing and implementing solutions
  • Experience in managing global data center footprint and importation process is preferred.
  • Effectively working with central procurement, AP, GL, Finance, and treasure to manage cloud expenses
  • Attract, select, and retain critical talent for the team, coach team members in supply chain organization, and overall career development

  • Qualifications
    • Be a seasoned candidate with a minimum of 7 years experience in the strategic and operational aspects of supply chain and procurement in high growth, dynamic environment
    • Have exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong internal and external relationships at all levels
    • Exhibit strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills. Be a proven creative thinker with a problem-solving approach
    • Have an excellent track record of establishing relationships, influencing and negotiating competing priorities among business partners
    • Have a proven ability to deliver concise and simple written and verbal communications to cross-functional stakeholders and executives
    • Have an excellent grasp of business-oriented financial concepts, financial analysis, budget formulation, and business case development

    Flexible
    A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
    Remote
    A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
