It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

About this Role:

Join Bend by FNBO's team to help us revolutionize consumer payments by creating a digital credit card services business. This business will deliver the speed and agility that digital-first fintech's and API-driven brands need to drive loyalty and value through card payments.

Our Credit Card-as-a-Service ("CaaS") platform is a collection of cloud native API products and services that are led by technology and being built with a product mindset; shifting away from how legacy card issuers work today. We are building our platform offering to attract digitally native brand partners who seek best in class API Card Products that can be seamlessly embedded into their digital brand customer experience. The CaaS team operates from a Product-led API first approach working "outside-in" to ensure we are focused on meeting the customers' needs up front. This means, we obsess over delivering high value experiences for customers and users at each step.

Bend by FNBO is looking for a highly motivated, passionate, self-driven individual that enjoys creating data centric solutions within our CaaS API platform that provide powerful insights to our employees and customers that improve the customer and partner experience as well as help protect the bank.

Our Team goal is to stay centered and focused on the customer, deliver products to our partners that solve real customer problems while at the same time protect the Bank.

The Director of Data Analytics and Reporting is responsible for organizing our analytics functions, managing our team of analysts, implementing tools and strategies to translate data into valuable business insights and developing and maintaining our standard reporting needs. This role will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to provide reporting and analytics to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for analytics employees to follow. They will use advanced data modeling, predictive modeling and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from company data and leverage these insights into initiatives that will support business outcomes. The right person for the job will apply their knowledge of data analysis to solving real-world problems faced by our company and finding opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams and business units.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Outline and manage data governance performance and standards, while developing and implementing operating plans to achieve those standards via audits, automation and processes
  • Implement and support metadata management processes and standards across all of the data domains to ensure data integrity and standardization
  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
  • Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
  • Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
  • Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.

Prerequisites

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, computer science, or related field.
  • Master's Degree may be preferred.
  • 5-7 years' experience in an Analytics Manager position or similar role is required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Analytics.
  • Proficient in business intelligence tools, software, and dashboards (Snowflake, Quicksight, SAS, PowerBi, Tableau, etc.)



Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $96,800.00-$154,658.00

IMPORTANT - This range is for the primary posting location of: Work at Home - Nebraska

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
