Digital Insights Analyst

The Digital Insights Analyst empowers and informs the central digital operations team by providing insights and reporting from digital media performance from campaigns running on owned properties. They translate data into actionable insights that help the central operations team optimize campaigns, identify anomalies and inconsistent performance trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Digital Insight Analyst will analyze campaign data and make it come alive through data visualizations and compelling storytelling. From day one, you will have an impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations. Working across multiple teams you will provide an understanding of key marketing drivers, in addition, to independently gathering, reviewing, and analyzing large data sets to produce strategic insights.

  • Conduct strategic analysis of digital marketing campaigns to identify high-level performance trends to inform optimization efforts and business at scale
  • Evaluate KPIs, provide ongoing reports, and provide actionable insights
  • Consult with cross-functional teams to develop ad hoc reporting and dashboards to track the performance of key business initiatives and define areas for a/b testing and optimization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze audience segments and other targeting means to identify potential factors affecting performance and opportunities to scale performance
  • Identify gaps in data that need to be researched
  • Take input from team leadership and business owners to understand the goals of the business and define meaningful KPIs to track goals/targets
  • Drive increased adoption of data-driven decision-making together with Marketing Insights & Analytics function, as well as agile way of working (Build, Test, Learn), contribute to campaign optimization process and daily management activities to drive campaign performance via continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3/5 years' experience analyzing media campaigns including programmatic, social media, email marketing, etc.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
  • Advanced analytics with the ability to summarize large amounts of data from different sources and present analysis to various functional groups
  • Experience in working with Data visualization tools, building interactive reports, complex dashboards for different audiences, creating calculated KPIs or metrics by writing complex formulas
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong business intuition with a strategic mindset who can dive deep into details
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Knowledge of how to extract, clean and manipulate data from multiple systems into reporting objects for analysis
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a high paced environment
