Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides data quality and data review services to support UHC's integrated healthcare data warehouse, reports, and analytic solutions
• Develops test scenarios and testing strategy and performs end to end data quality testing
• Evaluates test results against business value and established quality measures and identifies appropriate course of action
• Pro-actively identifies patterns in issues and defects and researches the root cause to improve overall quality
• Seeks to understand business requirements and sorts through large amounts of data to develop in-depth knowledge of relationships between relevant subject areas and end-to-end data flows / lineage
• Perform data quality audits and adherence to compliance checks, such as HIPAA
• Design, develop, and implement automated testing frameworks and solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines
• Provides explanation and information to customers and leaders on difficult or complex issues
• Translates data quality concepts into practice
• Leads and mentor's other quality analysts

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BA in related field
• 3+ years of data analysis / quality assurance / reporting experience
• Intermediate or advanced SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / ANSI SQL)
• Familiar with data movement processes, ETL development lifecycle methodologies

Preferred Qualifcations:

• 3+ years Oracle PL / SQL
• Experience with automation tools and concepts
• Healthcare industry / data experience (claims / clinical / calls outreach data)
• Tableau and/or data visualization experience
• Basic understanding of data science concepts and their use in solutions
• Familiar with data warehouse concepts
• Familiar with unix / linux
• Statistical analysis
• Python

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
