About the job
The Red Hat Talent Acquisition (TA) team is looking for an experienced Data and Analytics Program Manager with expertise in recruiting processes and key metrics to join us. In this role, you will work closely with the global TA team and business leaders to develop a deep understanding of our hiring processes in order to analyze business needs and deliver actionable insights. You'll partner closely with our HR Analytics team to create and maintain accurate, scalable reports that guide business decisions. You'll need to have solid analytical, presentation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to enable others in telling a compelling story using data. You'll also need to be able to run ad hoc reports directly from our applicant tracking system (ATS), customer relationship management (CRM), and other key platforms. This role requires you to have a strategic mindset and be willing to jump in and build a report to quickly meet a customers' needs. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.
What you will do

  • Provide expertise on recruiting analytics topics and guide the partnership between TA and our HR Analytics team
  • Understand and translate business needs for our HR Analytics team in order to create meaningful, scalable reporting solutions
  • Partner closely with HR Analytics partners to share insights and key data findings
  • Apply a data driven approach to our relationship with vendors like Linkedin and Glassdoor; manage the reporting and ensure TA leaders understand how we're using the tool and where we can improve
  • Work closely with our Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing teams to measure and analyze performance and ROI for events, advertising investments, source of hire, recruiter outreach, campaigns, etc.
  • Work with our HR Systems team to ensure we're tracking sources effectively and automating when possible
  • Measure job performance via our career site as well as external job posting sites
  • Deliver critical messages through storytelling and visual representation
  • Create compelling presentations rooted in analytics to inform and influence business leaders
  • Provide insights and recommendations used to identify gaps and tackle problems in our hiring workflows
  • Identify opportunities for research to support strategic decisions and process changes
  • Provide insight into survey and dashboard creation for the Global TA team
  • Produce recruiting summaries and other ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Mentor and develop more junior team members with a passion for reporting and analytics


What you will bring

  • Experience managing and analyzing data using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio
  • Experience crafting and delivering effective executive communications rooted in analytics
  • Experience influencing technical and non-technical audiences across all levels of an organization
  • Experience building compelling presentations in PowerPoint or Google slides
  • Demonstrated ability to manage very sensitive data and exercise judgment and discretion
  • Experience with using the Microsoft and Google Suite tools (Excel, Google Sheets)
  • Experience in building compelling presentations in PowerPoint or Google slides
  • Experience navigating a fast-paced, dynamic matrixed working environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working specifically with recruiting data (e.g., funnel analysis, candidate engagement, and other recruiting-specific work) is a big plus
