Core Responsibilities
- Manages, transforms and integrates data to ensure info is accurate and interpretable for analysis
- Conducts analysis using statistical and visualization techniques with large, complex data sets to translate results into actionable deliverables for business leaders
- Provides ad-hoc/special project data analysis for business leaders, enabling them to achieve goals, drive decision making, impact new strategies and make improvements
- Partner with members of the senior management team to develop critical reporting requirements
- Participate in the strategic planning process and provide insights and ideas
- Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of existing processes and propose improvements to streamline the use of key business metrics
- Work cross functionally on projects across the company
What We Value
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or Engineering
- 3-5 years of development experience with exposure to Data Science
- Solid Python and SQL skills
- Solid math skills - Probability/statistics/calculus
- Experience with advanced data visualization techniques using PowerBI, Tableau or other similar software
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Startup mindset with the ability to take ownership and work independently
- Experience with healthcare or insurance is a plus
