Data Analyst
The Role:
The Data Analyst will be a part of the Sales Business Insights team within the Sales Business Office (SBO) and contribute to the quantitative analysis of the organization's key challenges and opportunities. They will contribute to the synthesis and analysis of many different market, business, and sales performance datasets. The Data Analyst will analyze trends, questions, and sales performance and will create reports and ad hoc analysis. The Data Analyst troubleshoots issues with standard reports and works with internal clients.
What you'll do:
- Help manage processes to build new, and to improve existing, data pipelines.
- Support cloud infrastructure for the team in AWS and Snowflake for data and model pipelines.
- Build reports and data visualizations via tools such as Excel and Tableau.
- Move vetted solutions to production as needed.
- Support data inquiries. Analyze data and identify trends. Draw conclusions, present insights and tell compelling stories.

Who You Are:
You'll be an analytical thinker with expert technical and data analysis skills who has the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and remain organized with excellent attention to detail and first-time quality.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years of experience; or 6 years of experience in a related field
Preferred:
- Be highly analytical with a proven ability to turn data into compelling insight
- Be proficient writing code to extract/transform data from various systems and in performing analysis on large datasets
- Be a self-starter - work independently with minimal direction or oversight
- Excel in a fast-pace, high-pressure environment where speed and quality are paramount
- 3+ years of direct experience with analytics, reporting, data mining, and data visualization
- Proficient in SQL
- Experience querying RDMBS environments such as Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, Netezza, Teradata
- Experience with DMBS query tools such as SQL Developer or Toad
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS (s3, Redshift, EC2), is preferred
- Strong Excel skills
