Job Description

Position Summary:

Are you a problem solver? Do you love challenges and enjoy creativity? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join the Global Strategic Pricing team! This role drives the strategies, processes, and systems used to develop, implement, and maintain standard pricing methods around the organization. An example of analytical excellence, the Analyst will own and implement pricing reports across various dimensions of the company influencing all pricing decisions in coordination with Commercial, Product Management, Marketing, and General Management leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A strong candidate will demonstrate tactical, strategic and thoughtful ways of using quantitative and qualitative pricing approaches using statistical techniques and data science.
  • Use creative ways of building and conveying thoughts on projects and areas of opportunity.
  • Support a culture of excellence by scaling price reporting and optimizing utility of data for division and regional partners while driving actions to achieve these pricing goals.
  • An important quality of this role is to deliver excellence and creativity in data management and output. GSP is a consulting function that drives groundbreaking price performance improvement and is passionate about driving sales and profitability for the company. It is therefore crucial to deliver above and beyond our business partners' expectations. Demonstrating the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with partners will be a strength in this role.



How will you get here?

  • Have a bachelor's in business, finance, scientific field, mathematics, operations, or another related field. An advanced degree in business or a technical field is a plus.
  • 3+ years or more relevant work experience.
  • Solid understanding of SQL Server, working in large data sets, Excel, and other quantitative methods and are familiar with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc or have an aptitude for coding (R, Python, or any relational databases).
  • Basic understanding of MS SQL database administration; specifically creating, scheduling and managing SQL jobs.
  • Provide training on data sources and price reporting methodology.
  • Consolidate scheduled and ad hoc reports across all company Divisions.
  • Motivated and driven to make an impact. You take the initiative on new challenges.
  • Passion for working cross-functionally and across geographic boundaries (up to 20% travel) to effectively influence and partner.
