What does a great Data Analyst Advisor do?

Working in Global Business Solutions, you will support our Payment Risk Solutions business working under the guidance of a Director. Being on the front lines of building a new BI team, this position is a hybrid of business intelligence/data analysis and lite project management. You will analyze ambiguous data to understand trends, reach conclusions, and develop strategies to support the business improving performance. You'll also provide internal and external reporting and analytics on an ongoing and ad hoc basis.

As a Data Analyst Advisor, you can look forward to:• Developing and maintaining Power BI Dashboards/KPIs• Handling all KPI reporting and compliance. Establishing metrics, resource requirement forecasts, and service level agreements to continually improve the performance• Centralizing and standardizing reporting to run the day-to-day business.• Working with various businesses and technical teams• Working with large amounts of data• Performing impact assessments of the changes desired/required• Concisely summarizing findings and sharing with leadership as appropriate• Creating and maintaining timely metric reports and dashboards• Creating new processes and update/improve existing processes

You're the kind of person who:
• Is highly proficient with Power BI and Excel, including pivot tables and lookup/reference functions; power query• Has strong quantitative and analytical skills• Is known for your excellent verbal, written and presentation skills• Has strong attention to detail, business acumen, customer focus and team orientation• Is great at anticipating problems and opportunities and taking the initiative to pursue solutions.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
• Bachelor's degree• Minimum 3 years experience in data analytics in financial services/payment industry• Must have heavy experience in Power BI and MS Excel, experience in the development of Power BI Dashboards• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams• Experience articulating complex issues/data in laymen's terms
