Primary Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining multiple data sources using complex SQL and Tableau Prep Builder.
  • Create custom SQL to extract information and conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer a wide variety of questions that arise from both internal and external customers.
  • Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies across various report sources to ensure data continuity.
  • Leverage Tableau and other analytical tools to deliver and maintain data visualizations and conduct analyses to support multiple business areas.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and partner with other departments to ensure data quality and document reporting requirements
  • Suggest new solutions to overcome issues and assist with developing strategies for long-term growth opportunities
  • Collaborate and work with a variety of departments and team members to find answers and problem solve
  • Provide support and mentorship to fellow Data Analysts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • BA or BS degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with relational databases within a data warehouse environment and comfortable querying both structured and unstructured data
  • 2+ years of experience writing complex SQL to query data
  • Basic understanding of ETL processes and other data engineering concepts
  • Skilled Excel user and proficient in MS Office 365
  • Proven ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentage, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
