Configuration Test Analyst
Job Description
As a Configuration Analyst at Cerner, you will be responsible for the Cerner Sorien Financial suite configuration for client use. Cerner is looking for a Configuration Analyst with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. This position will coordinate with internal project teams to bi-directionally share configuration status, project timelines, and project updates, and verify configuration requests. The Configuration Analyst works closely with Cerner consulting teams to ensure the smooth and seamless flow of information/data across all client domains.
Responsibilities include evaluating and configuring the software to verify it is ready for our client's use. This role utilizes analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and in-depth solution knowledge to confirm configuration and readiness. Other responsibilities include preparing data for configuration, completing system configurations, escalating reported configuration issues for resolution, and balancing configuration ownership responsibilities across multiple external clients. You will be working within a larger team, where you will be contributing to the configuration based upon the client's design and requirements and the main region that you will be supporting will be based in the United States. This will sometimes require working in line with the client's time zone where required, such as during a client GoLive/conversion.

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of total combined higher education and related work experience
- At least 1 year of application or system configuration, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
- At least 4 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job
