The Client and Market Intelligence Modeling Manager works closely with the Client and Market Intelligence Lead and internal clients to understand information objectives, project definition and coordination to deliver on the IMC vision.

  • Align with IMC growth strategy, business leadership, firm governance and internal data resources - both formal and informal.
  • Utilize internal and external resources/vendors to deliver on project objectives.
  • Manage external resources.
  • Manage the full arc of custom projects from inquiry, to discovery, project definition, stakeholder agreement, insights delivery, recommendations and results assessment.
  • Recommend and leverage advanced statistical and modeling techniques to lift results of marketing, sales and client activities.


Primary Responsibilities:

Manage and ensure that team analytics and priorities are aligned with departmental vision for growth within available resources. Recognize when additional resources or external expertise are recommended, a plan and cost estimates will be required. Build connections with business leaders in IMC, LOB, Industry and Eminent teams to ensure results-oriented projects that have pull through with the business. Ensure that insights recommendations have a path to successful activation.

Partner with the business to coordinate analysis projects that translate into insights that boost growth opportunities and results. Projects should leverage advance modeling tools and techniques (Alteryx, Power BI, Python, R) that combine information from various system that include, but are not limited to: Martech stack (CRM, Web), Client (IPM, EMERGE, Clear, Finance Dept.), 3rd parties (Audit Analytics, SEC, D&B, Pitchbook, others as needed.)

Develop prototypical analyses with an understanding that all should have a path towards a scalable solution - with and for the business. Upon development, recommend scalable implementation or retire the prototype documenting lessons learned. Maintain recurring projects when necessary.

Coordinate with teammates to ensure optimal connection on interdependent projects. Recognize opportunities for efficient delivery, but also enhanced results from combined insights. Collaborate with other Client & Market Insights teammates to ensure best use of resources, data and related systems. Understand and leverage connections to IMC growth objectives, people and systems.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS with Experience in Business Analytics, emphasis on Marketing
  • Master's Degree preferred


TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Required - Proficiency in analytics, structured problem solving and toolsets to support predictive modeling and forecasting of complex businesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills strongly preferred
  • Required - CRM, Statistical, Database, Spreadsheet and Presentation tools familiarity
  • Required - Critical thinking skills
  • Experience partnering with database teams to build warehouses for data mining
  • Preferred - High-level working knowledge of common quantitative model types and to what business problems they can be applied to.
  • Preferred - Advanced analytics profiling advertising, sales, marketing & client behaviors.


EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing or Customer Insights with emphasis in Business Intelligence required.
  • Professional Services or financial services preferred
  • Strong consulting and communications skills (i.e., written, interpersonal, presentation, and storytelling skills)
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and project-management skills.


LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Required - Ability to lead a project and work independently to drive a delivery schedule
  • Required - Ability to build and leverage an understanding of firm strategy, and the needs of the businesses and departments to collaborate on successful projects.
  • Strongly preferred - Ability to work with communications and training teams to pivot complex analytics into common business terms
  • Required - Ability to design, fit and address common predictive and causal analytics use cases.
