Description

This is a lead technical manager role within the Process Performance organization and the associated functional processes within Network Quality & Innovation. This position is responsible for supporting web based interface tools, automation processes, data analytics using technical tools as required to support Process Oversight & Controls.

A successful candidate for this role would have SQL Server knowledge (cross DB querying, ability to write stored procedures) as well as SSIS knowledge to build jobs and SAS knowledge isn't required but a definite plus.

This role requires the ability to lead and manage medium complexity projects, or components of larger projects impacting multiple business units relating to quality data analysis, quality excellence, and process improvement. This role requires equal parts technical skill and knowledge with the ability to fully understand the business processes it supports.

This is a high energy, high work ethic role - continuously evolving the program to drive accuracy, while leading a technical, strong, and empowered team.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with very technical skills while leading and developing a technical team with a strong understanding of the business processes involved - equal parts technical and business
  • Comfortable working in an environment with priorities often changing daily - ability to prioritize work accordingly
  • Development and maintenance of various tables that are critical to identifying and remediating defective data
  • Development and maintenance of automated processes to support identification of defective data and remediation
  • Strong ability to tell the story of the data for the business in order to help influence process decisions
  • Close engagement with all Quality and Process Outcomes focused teams to assist with any technical needs to support the business
  • Collaboration with IT and other key matrix partners to build and maintain many different technical tools and automated processes
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for all developed and supported processes and tools
  • Ability to quickly deliver in an ambiguous environment - able to handle multiple iterations to accomplish the final product
  • Able to organize and execute project deliverables with high quality, leadership, and drive strategic execution
  • Passionately develops and coaches staff in order to empower staff to drive process improvement, create and solution innovated technical tool design, and be courageous in the face of ambiguity
  • Is comfortable leaning in to learn complex data relationships
  • Builds and maintains working relationships with functional areas outside of the Department
  • Maintains project issues/risk logs, implement mitigation strategies, and confirm all issues are resolved appropriately
  • Leads regular project driven meetings as necessary to review progress and priorities
  • Ensures a positive, collaborative work environment for the team



Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience driving insights from large data sets using technical skills and tools
  • Solid experience with SQL Server and SSIS required
  • SAS is a plus
  • Strong data mining and analytical skills
  • Solid oral, presentation, and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within diverse groups
  • Ability to determine the best technology for various reporting requests
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities that differ in complexity and scope
  • Self-directed, works independently with minimal oversight
  • Functions as a team player and team leader
  • Adept critical thinking skills with the ability to identify process gaps and determine root causes with consistency in results
  • Ability to build, manage and develop successful teams - directly and with influence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Commercial Network, Contract and Demographic provider data elements highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Tableau highly desired
  • Exposure to Toad Data Point and Toad for Oracle a plus
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills with the ability to discuss data analysis results and root cause defects through storytelling to influence process improvements

This role is WAH/Flex, which allows most work to be performed at home. WAH/Flex employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if they choose to come onsite or if required to periodically come on site.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $95,800 - $159,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
