Position Summary

We give you the high charge of integrating customer business plans, providing internal and external promotional analysis, leveraging analytical data/insights and developing portfolio recommendations to achieve overall sales, market share and profit objectives. You'll be supported by a larger team-The Customer Development Group (CDG)-a bold name for our Sales department. As a Business Analyst-eCommerce, you will support the execution and optimization of annual business plans for Purina's Digital business at Walmart through analytics, insights, and recommendations to enable delivery against key business objectives and drivers.

  • Ensure NPPCs item catalog is maintained and positioned for success on Walmart's digital properties •
  • Identify opportunities to advance our competitive edge on Walmart.com •
  • Deliver insights into drivers & drainers of the business and provide recommendations to drive profitable volume & share growth
  • Evaluate retailers' websites and identify best in class examples for the team to leverage w/ Walmart
  • Ability to harmonize and make sense of disparate datasets to determine business and operational trends and ultimately drive action
  • Ability to analyze unstructured data, form relationships, and provide insights into key elements for various levels of the organization
  • Collaborate and liaison with eComm region data analytics team and Walmart extended sales team to create, optimize and maintain team reporting within Power BI & the SBR POS feed
  • Provides weekly/monthly business overview, insights, & recommendations to customer teams on progress against team/business KPIs
  • Assess competitive market activity and provide analytics around risks/opportunities to the Purina portfolio
  • 'Store Walk' the digital shelf to identify and elevate new/emerging site capabilities, gaps to competition, and opportunities for NPP portfolio growth
  • Maintain market price list for customer team and analyze existing reporting to identify & recommend brand equity opportunities on site


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Business or Customer analytics Other
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time for business needs
