Job Description:
The Role
Fidelity's Defined Benefit Product & Strategy team is looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate about growing the business and delivering value to our DB recordkeeping services organization.
You will be a key member of the Tribe working closely with a team of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated squad members responsible for delivering specific business goals operating within the WI agile project management methodology.
We are open to hiring a fully remote candidate for this opportunity.
TheExpertiseand Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of business analyst techniques, for example: benchmarking, business rules analysis, risk analysis and user stories, user acceptance testing and product documentation
- Proven experience with Jira, Confluence, Mural or similar Agile backlog management tool preferred
- Experience with variety of Defined Benefit Platform(s) and Product(s)
- Proven experience with Defined Benefit Plans
- Good understanding on MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- CSM/CSPO Certification preferred
- Positivity and flexibility, with a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the squad
- You are a highly-motivated "self-starter" with a sense of ownership
- A good listener, but also possess strong verbal communication skills, and excellent time management skills
- Facilitate and lead workshops and team meetings
- You possess excellent writing skills and the ability to maintain proven documentation
- An Agile mentality
- Initiating and leading discovery for Feature/Epic definition and key decision partners with Squad Leader and Scrum Mater
- Ensuring Epic/Story artifacts are updated and available for story execution based on priority
- Write stories and facilitate story grooming/refinement sessions to ensure they meet the definition of ready
- Collaborating with key Business, IT, Legal, Compliance & Risk partners to define product features and review trends
- Establish meetings to include demos and impact analysis results (User Experience Design, Legal, Other Business Groups)
- Engage in organizational readiness activities through the lifecycle of the project to proactively mitigate risks related to product delivery
- Participate and /or facilitate the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Release Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
- Provides constructive feedback for future improvements in execution
- Identify business requirements, document improvement opportunities, share with Scrum Team and at BA Forums
- Collaborate with the QA team on QA test plan reviews and provides help and guidance to QA with story requirements / acceptance criteria clarifications
- Performing Business Acceptance Testing in acceptance region and ensure the traceability of test cases to the story acceptance criteria
- Assists either or readiness and deployment activities for each release
- Understand WI business and organizational structures
- Keep up to date with Agile/Scrum standard methodologies and new trends

The DB Product team is a forward-thinking team who partners with our internal and external users to build unified, relevant, confidence-building digital experiences. The squads are passionate about the end to end creation of digital experiences, with a focus on identifying key customer needs and defining business requirements. We work in partnership with the business and other squads supporting the Employee and Employer Digital Tribe.
