This Associate Business Systems Analyst role is part of our newly formed Strategic Management Office (SMO) and works closely with the VP of IT Strategic Program Execution. The mission of the SMO is to drive fast and reliable delivery of capabilities that positions the IT organization to deliver value and support the business transformation and growth agenda. You will be a key member of the IT organization's portfolio management center of excellence and will focus on defining, implementing, and tracking key metrics and KPIs for business stakeholders. You will measure and analyze portfolio, program, product, and team performance. You will develop and execute these mechanisms and set up, configure, and maintain the portfolio software framework. This is a great opportunity for someone who's looking to play a strategic role in implementing agile portfolio management across a high-growth and fast-paced environment across multiple teams.

What this role isn't:

This isn't a role where you should wait for instructions. You will need to jump in and quickly make actionable and measurable recommendations. This role also isn't just about planning and defining metrics. You will need to execute your plans, measure outcomes, and pivot if needed.

What you'll bring to the table:

You will need to be a highly effective communicator and be able to lead cross-functional stakeholders in an environment going through an organizational transformation. You will also need to have strong writing and PowerPoint presentation skills and the ability to communicate at a portfolio level. You will need to have a high degree of empathy and emotional intelligence to ensure your approach is not only logical but makes the most business sense for our multiple stakeholders.

Some details about what you'll do:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze current state needs and challenges, identify improvement and automation opportunities, develop a backlog of user requirements, propose business and system architectures, initiate proof of concept effort for specific capabilities and work closely with the IT development team to enable the product(s) - both off the shelf and custom
  • Develop, measure, and track business outcomes that drive value-based prioritization and help the IT Enterprise define, measure, and govern the IT Portfolio's value streams, value delivery, financial benefits, risks, and impact assessments
  • Define, measures, track, and report on the portfolio success metrics and KPIs throughout the organization and work with the data team to visualize through Tableau and other tools



Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to collect information from multiple sources and integrate the information to find creative ways to meet business needs
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple requests at the same time
  • Excellent team player: ability to lead peers in accomplishment of common goals
  • Must have active US Citizenship status
  • BA/BS in related degree or equivalent experience
