A Typical Day
Under the direction of manager, provide data analysis and model building in the Product and Pricing Strategy Group. Analyze vast amounts of raw data to find patterns and help to build models that will help improve profitability, our customers' experience, improve processes, and mitigate risks. Utilize skills in modeling techniques such as logistic regression, Naïve Bayes, SVM, decision trees, or neural networks, R, SQL, and Python including the Tensorflow, Keras, and XGBoost libraries to extract valuable business insights, and make real-time predictions to improve the profitability of our business or how our business operates. Work with manager and senior team members to understand the business problem and the objectives. Support project leads to identify valuable data sources, and work with our IT team to collect such data. Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data, analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns, and implement statistical models for data analysis. Help build and maintain predictive models, neural networks and machine-learning algorithms, present information using data visualization techniques, and propose data science solutions and strategies. Position will be headquartered in Moorpark, CA, and allows for telecommuting from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.
What You'll Bring
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or related field, plus one (1) year post-baccalaureate experience as Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineering Scientist or related role. Experience must include data mining, statistical machine learning using Python, vscode, jupyter notebook, scikit learn, numpy, pandas, deep learning, neural networks, regression and MySQL Workbench Position will be headquartered in Moorpark, CA, and allows for telecommuting from various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States. Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

• Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
• Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
• Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
