Actuarial and Risk Analyst

This Actuarial and Risk Analyst is responsible for supporting the actuarial and actuarial-based financial risk functions of the company. This position will be responsible for some aspects of analytical support for actuarial financial and risk reporting, modeling and analysis, experience analysis, pricing/ product development or product management. Provides general analysis and resolves less complex problems / issues on a timely basis, completely, and accurately.
This position does not participate in the Actuarial Student Program. The candidate will not be eligible for paid study hours, reimbursement of study materials, exam fees, etc.
What you do
- Access and retrieve data from various systems
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute materials to internal customers
- Perform established operational processes on a timely basis, completely, and accurately
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with appropriate standards
- Perform calculations using well-defined processes
What you bring
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field required
- Less than 2 years related experience required
- Excel and Access experience required
- Preferred experience with Business Intelligence Tools: Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, SQL
