DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Maintain the Support of Business Intelligence portal for Home Lending Originations. Develop, Maintain, and Automate dynamic and interactive dashboards. Create or Modify SQL Stored Procedures/views. Analyze datasets and build data workflows. Develop and Automate the production of recurring summarized and detailed reports and dashboards using ETL technologies or other data wrangling options. Leverage advanced visualization techniques, ETL automation using Alteryx and ODBC connectors. Provide ad-hoc analysis and perform root cause analysis for any issues identified. Resolve or remediate any issues that occur. Update logical or physical data models based on new use cases. Deliver decision support tools and dashboards for business stakeholders. Identify inefficiencies and suggest automation or optimization opportunities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows. Create Package for Production Deployment and participate in Weekend Production deployment activities. Communicate clearly with team, stakeholders, requestors on timeline and any changes. Develop, test, and maintain critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. Perform work in compliance with process defined by Controls team. Monitor JIRA dashboard.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Visualization Associate, Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Visualization Associate, Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: Business Intelligence KPIs; Financial Data Analytics; Home Lending/Mortgage Processes; Advanced BI Development; Advanced Data Visualization; Data Warehousing Disciplines (Datamart, Metadata, SCD, CDC, Data and Quality Assurance); Root-Cause Analysis; Advanced SQL; SQL Server; T-SQL; Indexing and optimization; Table Partitioning; Dynamic SQL; CTEs Data Wrangling; Data Integration; Automation; ETL; Python; and Dashboard Performance Optimization to improve rendering times. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: Functional Testing; User Acceptance Testing; Unit Testing; and Ad-hoc Analysis to provide relevant context to existing logic or query in the report. This position also requires any amount of experience with: Teradata; SSRS; Power BI Cloud Service; Tableau; DAX (Power BI); Row Level Security; JavaScript; Power Shell; Git; JIRA; AWS Cloud; Alteryx; Visual Studio; Agile SDLC; Risk Assessment; Statistical Analysis; and Data Architecture Disciplines in each of the following stages: Data Ingestion, Staging, Processing, and Data Model design using Erwin.
