About Toyota Automated Logistics

 The TAL Service Analytics team is further evolving towards a full end-to-end data analytics center of expertise, within the Service Excellence department and it goal is to deliver standardized, scalable, and business-driven data products and reporting solutions across the TAL Service organization.
Our mission is to enable a data-driven service organization, where decision-making is supported by clear, consistent, and actionable insights. This means moving away from fragmented and manual reporting towards standardized KPI frameworks, automated dashboards, and self-service analytics.
To support this ambition, we are looking for a Data Visualization & Reporting Engineer who combines strong visualization and reporting capabilities with supporting data engineering skills. The role has a clear focus on Qlik dashboarding, reporting usability, and stakeholder value creation, while also contributing to the development and maintenance of data products that ensures high-quality and trusted reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

You are responsible for refining and maintaining analytical products like dashboards and reports and co-developing data products and analytical models within the Life Cycle Services domain. In addition, you act as the first point of contact for CDAO and Data Consumers for dashboarding and data issues, query and change requests regarding the business domain data.

  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality Qlik dashboards tailored to business users across Service
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, intuitive visualizations and data stories that drive action and decision-making
  • Define, refine, and standardize KPI frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Improve reporting usability by applying strong data visualization principles, layout standards, and storytelling techniques
  • Continuously optimize dashboards for performance, consistency, and business relevance
  • Work closely with Business Stakeholders, Product Managers, Data Analysts, and SMEs to translate business questions into concrete dashboards, KPIs, and data products
  • Bridge the gap between business and technical teams, as a trusted advisor, challenging requirements and driving clarity in reporting needs, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption
  • Contribute to the data and analytics roadmap, aligning new development with the Service priorities

Key goals & Tasks FY27

  • Establish a standardized service-centered reporting framework with clearly defined KPIs and dashboards
  • Deliver and maintain scalable analytical data products aligned with the Service roadmap
  • Increase dashboard adoption and usage across Service organization
  • Reduce manual reporting efforts by automation and standardization of reporting processes
  • Strengthen the role of Service Analytics as a data consulting partner within the business
  • Identify and deliver high-value data use cases that directly support business performance improvement

Key Competences

  • 2–3 years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence
  • Strong experience or affinity with Qlik (preferred) and/or Power BI dashboarding and reporting
  • Strong understanding of data structures, data quality, and potential data issues
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear KPIs, dashboards, and actionable insights
  • Ability and interest to quickly learn about the business processes in Service in which the data is created and/or used.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts (data modelling)
  • Strong awareness of data consumers and reporting usability
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cooperate & collaborate with team members, Business Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts and Data Consumers to ensure correct business input as well as successful validation and application of the delivered analytical products
  • Ambition to grow into a business-facing data consultant
