The Role
Leads cybersecurity analytics and data visualization strategy, delivering governed KPIs, semantic models, executive dashboards, narratives, anomaly detection, forecasting, and natural-language insight experiences. Partners with data engineering to ensure data quality, lineage, scalability, and performance while implementing access governance, privacy, and change controls. Owns the analytics portfolio roadmap and backlog, drives adoption, establishes quality standards, and mentors analysts and visualization specialists in a regulated financial-services environment.

As a Data Visualization Director on the Cybersecurity Information Security Insights team, you will deliver executive-grade analytics and AI-enabled insight experiences that help senior leaders make faster, higher-confidence decisions. You will move the organization beyond static dashboards toward decision-ready narratives, governed metrics, and natural-language experiences—built securely and operated at production standards in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Information Security Insights analytics and visualization portfolio, including roadmap, prioritization, backlog management, and value delivery.
  • Translate leadership questions into governed KPIs/KRIs, trusted semantic models, and executive-ready analytics products.
  • Design and deliver high-impact dashboards and narratives aligned to Technology Risk & Controls, highlighting drivers, trends, and recommended actions.
  • Advance analytical rigor beyond reporting by introducing techniques such as trend analysis, segmentation, anomaly detection, leading indicators, and explainable forecasting where appropriate.
  • Partner with Data Engineering team to ensure data quality, timeliness, lineage, scalability, and performance—validating metric logic end-to-end.
  • Implement strong controls for reporting and analytics, including access governance, privacy-by-design, and disciplined change management.
  • Drive adoption through enablement, documentation, and usage instrumentation with clear feedback loops to leadership.
  • Establish standards and mentor analysts/visualization specialists through structured coaching and review.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering analytics and data products for senior stakeholders with measurable business impact.
  • Expert-level Tableau and/or Power BI experience in production, including dashboard UX and metric/semantic architecture.
  • Advanced SQL skills with ability to validate data and calculations end-to-end.
  • Strong capability in problem framing and translating business questions into requirements, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
  • Experience owning a backlog independently and balancing stakeholder needs with governance and delivery discipline.
  • Demonstrated leadership in setting quality standards and mentoring analysts.
  • Experience operating in a regulated environment with strong risk, controls, and data access governance practices.
