Role Overview
As a Data Operations Analyst at Broadridge, you’ll ensure the integrity, quality, and accessibility of critical financial data powering our platform. You will build scalable data pipelines, drive automation, and collaborate across teams to deliver accurate insights that enable smarter financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks on operational datasets (e.g., incidents, tasks, schedules, support metrics).

• Investigate data anomalies, mismatches, and inconsistencies using SQL-based analysis.

• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and recurring operational reports.

• Support data cleanup initiatives, including standardization, deduplication, and reconciliation of historical records.

• Manage and validate configurations related to paging and operational platforms (e.g., schedules, access, associations).

• Partner with internal teams to clarify data definitions, reporting logic, and requirements.

• Conduct QA on data transformations and reporting outputs prior to release.

• Respond to ad hoc analysis requests related to incidents, performance metrics, and operational trends.

• Maintain clear documentation of data logic, validation steps, and reporting processes.

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data checks and reporting tasks using existing tools.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, reporting, or analytics support roles.

• Experience working with operational, support, or system-generated data (ITSM, monitoring, ticketing, or similar) is an advantage.

• Proven ability to work with messy or ambiguous data and turn it into reliable reporting.

• Comfortable handling recurring validation and support-oriented analytics work.

• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Strong communication skills and experience working with non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Tools (Must-Have)

• Strong SQL (data investigation, validation, reconciliation).

• Power BI (dashboarding, report maintenance, basic modeling).

• Advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, validation, analysis).

• Experience with ITSM or operational data (incidents, tasks, SLAs, schedules) is a strong advantage.

• Ability to document data logic and communicate findings clearly.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Exposure to paging or on-call systems (e.g., xMatters, MIR3).

• Experience supporting internal operational dashboards rather than external BI products.

• Automation using SQL, scripts, or lightweight tools (not full data engineering).
