Data Streaming Specialist/Developer

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Streaming Specialist/Developer to join our team.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing real-time data streaming solutions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the effective use of data streaming technologies for data ingestion, processing, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop real-time data ingestion and processing pipelines using Apache Flink or Spark Streaming and Apache Kafka.

• Utilize NoSQL databases such as Cassandra for high-performance data storage.

• Integrate OpenSearch for data indexing and search capabilities.

• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate deployments.

• Deploy and manage data streaming solutions on AWS EMR or Kubernetes clusters.

• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Leverage AWS services for scalable and secure data streaming deployments.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data streaming issues, providing timely resolutions.

• Stay updated with the latest data streaming technologies and best practices.

• Provide training and support to internal teams on data streaming usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Flink or Spark Streaming.

• Strong understanding of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.

• Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra.

• Proficiency in OpenSearch for data indexing and search.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.

• Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.

• Knowledge of security best practices for data streaming technologies.

• Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools.

Basic wage component (brutto): from 3000 EUR

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 15% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
