The Enterprise Data Strategy Program Leader is a senior individual contributor who defines, operationalizes, and advances the organization’s Enterprise Data Strategy. This role connects business priorities, technology investments, analytics, AI, and enterprise data capabilities to ensure data is used as a strategic asset. 

Working with executive leadership, Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, Product Management, Analytics, and business leaders, this position develops enterprise data roadmaps, prioritizes strategic investments, establishes implementation frameworks, and leads cross-functional programs that enable measurable business value. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, influencing enterprise decision-making without direct managerial authority. 

This position is responsible for ensuring enterprise data initiatives are aligned, sequenced, funded, measurable, and positioned to support organizational strategy, digital transformation, analytics, and responsible AI adoption. 

How you will make an impact?

Enterprise Data Strategy & Capability Leadership :

  • Develop, implement, and continuously evolve the Enterprise Data Strategy and multi-year roadmap, aligning data capabilities and investments with organizational priorities, technology modernization, analytics, AI, and business objectives. 

  • Identify and advance enterprise capabilities supporting data products, analytics maturity, responsible AI, information management, and other strategic uses of organizational data. 

Enterprise Data Portfolio & Investment Planning:

  • Lead enterprise strategic planning for data initiatives, including business case development, investment recommendations, implementation of sequencing, dependency management, resource considerations, organizational readiness, and risk.

  • Establish measurable outcomes, KPIs, and value-realization measures to evaluate progress and inform ongoing investment and prioritization decisions. 

Enterprise Program and Change Leadership:

  • Lead enterprise strategic planning for data initiatives, including business case development, investment recommendations, implementation of sequencing, dependency management, resource considerations, organizational readiness, and risk.

  • Establish measurable outcomes, KPIs, and value-realization measures to evaluate progress and inform ongoing investment and prioritization decisions. 

Enterprise Program and Change Leadership:

  • Lead complex, cross-functional data programs from strategy through implementation, establishing program structures, decision frameworks, milestones, dependencies, risks, and accountability. 

  • Drive organizational adoption through stakeholder engagement, communications, readiness planning, and change-management activities that embed Data by Design and data-driven decision-making into enterprise practices. 

Business & Technology Alignment:

  • Partner with executives, business leaders, Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, Analytics, Product Management, and technology teams to translate organizational priorities into data capabilities and initiatives. 

  • Identify opportunities to use trusted data, analytics, automation, and AI to improve business performance and support enterprise transformation. 

Executive Advisory & Strategic Communications:

  • Develop executive presentations, strategic recommendations, maturity assessments, roadmaps, and KPI reporting.

  • Communicate progress, risks, investment recommendations, and business value realization to executive leadership and governance councils.

Innovation and Continuous Strategy Evolution:

  • Evaluate emerging data, analytics, AI, technology, and industry trends to identify implications and opportunities for the organization.

  • Recommend adjustments to enterprise strategy, operating models, capabilities, and investment priorities to ensure the organization’s data approach remains relevant, sustainable, and aligned with evolving business needs. 

What you will bring to the role:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Enterprise Architecture.

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline - Preferred.

  • 10–12+ years leading enterprise strategy, enterprise portfolio management, program management, business transformation, data strategy, or enterprise planning. 

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise strategies that span multiple business functions.  

  • Experience advising executives and facilitating strategic planning.  

  • Experience leading complex cross-functional enterprise initiatives without direct authority.  

  • Experience developing enterprise roadmaps, investment plans, business cases, and executive recommendations.  

  • Experience with enterprise operating models, organizational change, and strategic planning.  

  • Strong understanding of enterprise data management, analytics, governance, cloud technologies, and AI enablement.

Preferred Certifications:

Remote Work Eligibility

This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US

Compensation Grade Range

$127,500.00-$150,000.00

Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.

If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions.  One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
