This role in the Global Data Office will partner with Equifax’s global business units to develop, maintain, and drive execution of the Equifax data strategy, aligning it with enterprise business strategies and our technology architecture.
Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.
This role will work the required onsite days at our Equifax office in midtown ATL (OAC) with occasional visits to the Alpharetta office.
Sponsorship is not available for this position. This is a direct-hire role - not open to C2C.
What you’ll do

Conducts research and performs analysis on potential new and existing data sources.

Researches and prepares presentations and other communications on data strategy and enablement initiatives.

Organizes and participates in meetings and other working routines among data, IT, product, and analytics teams, offering up solutions when needed.

Develops subject-matter expertise for a given business and data subject area.

Understands the roles, responsibilities, operating model, and capabilities needed for the data strategy.

Cultivates in-depth knowledge of a given business and data subject area.

Helps in developing key reporting through the use of data transformation and visualization tools like Tableau and Python.
What experience you need
-
Bachelor's degree in related discipline required; Master's degree preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered.

2 - 5 years of analysis, product management, and/or consulting experience regarding data, preferably financial services data.

Familiarity with SQL and BI Tools (Looker, BigQuery, Tableau, etc.) and desktop application suites (Microsoft or Google).

Experience working on a project team.

Familiarity with cloud and on prem technologies, structured and unstructured data, streaming and reposed data.

Understanding of business strategy and different business operating models.
What could set you apart

Masters in Analytics or similar degree.

Google Cloud Experience and Certification.

Data Strategy Consulting Experience.

Familiarity with ETL tools such as Python, Tableau Prep or similar.
