About the Job:
We are seeking a motivated Associate Consultant with approximately 3 years of experience in data strategy, data governance, and data management. The ideal candidate will support client engagements by contributing to data initiatives, assisting in the development of governance frameworks, and helping implement data management solutions. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their expertise in a collaborative consulting environment while delivering value to clients through data-driven insights and solutions.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Support the development and execution of data strategy initiatives for clients across industries.
- Assist in assessing current-state data governance practices and identifying areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and stewardship models.
- Help document data flows, lineage, and metadata to improve transparency and traceability.
- Participate in data quality assessments and support remediation planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support data management tool evaluations.
- Assist in preparing client deliverables, presentations, and reports.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data governance and management.
What You’ll Bring with You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data strategy, governance, or management roles.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality concepts, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with data management tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in SQL or Python for data analysis and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
