Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate master data for electronic and non-electronic components, ensuring correct part associations and data integrity.
- Communicate directly with manufacturers and vendors to obtain missing or incomplete component data, including compliance and environmental information.
- Collect, validate, and maintain regulatory and sustainability compliance data for PCB and non-PCB components.
- Verify that all collected data is correctly matched to the appropriate part numbers, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain and update reports, data records, and supporting technical documentation related to component data and compliance.
- Prepare and track metrics related to data completeness, accuracy, and compliance status. Identify data gaps and work proactively with internal teams and external partners to resolve inconsistencies.
- Update and improve processes and procedures to support efficient data collection and data quality.
- Communicate information clearly and concisely across cross-functional teams.
- Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing principles.

- Related associate degree or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, validation, analysis)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including working with external vendors
- Ability to manage multiple data requests and follow through to completion
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly
- Experience working with component data, BOMs, or engineering systems
- Familiarity with regulatory or environmental compliance requirements
- Experience with databases (SQL, Access, or similar tools)
- Basic scripting or data automation skills (e.g., Python, Power Query)

Pay Range Data
Data Specialist I - $28.04 - $41.43 per hour.
We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job and responsibility. We base our starting pay offer and title on job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
