The VDS Data Specialist role offers an opportunity to explore and research the automotive aftermarket across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. If you are analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about working with data, this role could be a great fit for you.
You will be responsible for researching, collecting, validating, and analysing automotive data to support the continuous improvement of our data quality and accuracy.
Job QualificationAdhere to company workflows, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and data quality standards.
Conduct PESTLE analyses of automotive markets across the SEA region.
Research and collect domestic and international automotive data and parts information from reliable sources based on company requirements.
Investigate and validate collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness before entering it into the system.
Identify and correct data errors in accordance with established workflows and procedures.
Analyse collected and provided information to generate detailed reports and insights.
Collaborate with team leaders and other departments on daily operations and provide technical support to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Diploma or degree in Data Management, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
3–5 years of experience working with large data sets, preferably within the automotive industry or related fields.
Strong understanding of the automotive industry; experience in the automotive aftermarket, automotive service centres, workshops, parts distribution, or related automotive operations is highly valued.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with Access and SQL is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and written English skills.
