Sabot Consulting is seeking a skilled Pension Data Specialist with expertise in data cleansing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pension systems and a strong background in data management and cleansing. This role involves evaluating and improving the quality of data within our pension system database, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the implementation of new pension administration software.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits to detect anomalies, such as duplicates and incomplete records. Assess the impact of previous data migrations on current data integrity.
• Develop and execute a phased plan to cleanse and standardize data stored in outdated formats.
• Use data profiling techniques to identify common issues like redundancy and obsolescence.
• Implement automated validation rules to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
• Establish quality thresholds and audit trails to track all cleansing activities.
• Create detailed plans for migrating cleansed data to the new pension administration software system, ensuring backward compatibility where necessary.
• Conduct pilot migrations and use real-time monitoring tools to track progress.
• Establish robust backup procedures before each migration phase.
• Implement recovery plans to quickly restore previous states if migration issues arise.
• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) such as data accuracy and processing efficiency.
• Establish data stewardship roles and automated monitoring systems for ongoing data quality management.
• Prepare a comprehensive Data Cleansing Report detailing methodologies used, issues resolved, verified standardized data sets ready for integration with the new pension software, and long-term recommendations for maintaining data quality and governance

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data management and cleansing, particularly within pension or retirement-related systems.
• Proficiency in data profiling, validation, and migration techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with data management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and data backup solutions
