POSITION SUMMARY:
Person in this position will be responsible for the data management needs of the agency. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- The entry of data into the computer system including:
- Participant Service Verifications.
- Participant Profiles.
- SAP/DMC Contact Verifications.
- DMC billing for several counites
- Learn several counties EHR system.
- SASCA/DMC/other contracts Contact Logs.
- SASCA/DMC/other contracts Authorization for Participant Services.
- Admits and Discharges from Providers.
- PSN Verifications of Treatment.
- Monthly invoice generation including getting provider approval.
- Weekly Service Verifications faxed to providers for approval.
- Receive faxes and other correspondence and distribute to appropriate party.
- Researching and fixing of any error in data that may occur.
- Assist with any computer problems that may arise.
- Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of WestCare Foundation; and
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must be able to obtain and maintain CDCR Clearance.
- CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.
- During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- One (1) year data entry experience.
- High School diploma or its equivalent is required.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Not applicable for this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed primarily in an office, residential, or outpatient setting.
