Core Development is a global team of technologists who architect, build and maintain our world-class trading platform. From optimizing our core trading engine to building custom hardware, we leverage software & hardware engineering, data science and research, to deliver the infrastructure and tools that drive our trading and business needs.
Jump Trading established its dedication to the China market with the launch of our Shanghai office in late 2017 with the ambition of building an independently operational office. Due to this ambition, we are growing our competencies in Trading, Technology and Operations. What You'll Do:
- Ingest, process, and normalize large volumes of structured and unstructured financial data from a variety of sources to support trading and researching
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, quant traders, and portfolio managers to understand data needs, design and deliver scalable data infrastructure
- Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve data engineering capabilities
Skills You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong Python programming skills
- Solid understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling, and data warehousing
- Insights into commonly used quant data and experience with alternative data
- Experience with LLM is a bonus
