What We Do:High-quality data is the foundation of all Mapbox products. Data RAVE is a key division within Mapbox, which is responsible for acquiring, processing, and delivering high-quality location-oriented data to enable internal and external customers. The Road Closures team is responsible for managing traffic-related data within the system. This includes proactively adding, editing, and removing road closures to reflect real-world conditions, as well as responding to customer feedback to ensure that navigation remains accurate, reliable, and up-to-date.
What You'll Do:You will review a large amount of traffic data (road incidents: constructions, closures, etc.), and feedback from customers to improve their experience
You will do a root-cause analysis using various data sources and tools to understand the customers’ issues
You will make high-quality edits on OSM and other internal data sources based on guidelines
You will provide investigations and analysis, find patterns, and write reports
You will interact closely with teammates, managers, and engineers to improve current tools, workflows, products, and services
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work with large volumes of traffic data, identify patterns, and perform root-cause analysis
Quick learner: able to grasp new tools, workflows, and guidelines efficiently
English level: B1 (intermediate), both written and spoken — sufficient for daily communication, reading guidelines, and writing reports.
Willingness to work a 2/2 shift schedule from the office is required (2 days on, 2 days off), with day shift from 8:00am to 8:00pm and night shift from 8:00pm to 8:00am.
Basic knowledge of traffic regulations is required
Background in GIS, cartography; familiarity with OSM or similar mapping tools
Practical use of AI tools for data retrieval, automation, or workflow optimization
Solid knowledge of SQL, Python, JS, or low-code platforms for analysis and automation
Comfortable working with Jira and Confluence
