The role is to support the Strategic Pricing Manager and partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, and IT to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights and scalable pricing solutions.
This is achieved by leveraging advanced data analytics, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights that drive commercial, operational, and strategic decision-making within the pricing function.
The role:
- Use tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, and other analytics platforms to extract, analyse, and interpret large datasets .
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities to improve pricing, sales performance, customer segmentation, and operational efficiency .
- Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models including forecasting, segmentation, and optimisation models .
- Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to design scalable data pipelines and automate analytical processes .
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting suites that provide performance visibility and key business metrics .
- Support strategic initiatives through advanced modelling, scenario analysis, and clear communication of technical insights to stakeholders .
Who are you?
- Demonstrated experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or Statistical Modelling .
- University degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related discipline .
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques .
- Advanced proficiency in Python (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn), SQL, and Power BI or similar BI tools .
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data .
- Proven ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and communicate insights effectively .
