Data Scientist

Description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Scientist who brings a blend of technical expertise, business insight, and collaboration skills to drive data-driven decisions within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models and delivering impactful insights to meet business objectives. This role requires an understanding of algorithms, data analysis, and business alignment, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures to choose the best approach for different tasks
• Independently solve complex data science problems with minimal guidance
  
• Analyze business needs and align data science objectives with organizational goals
• Write optimized, scalable code in multiple programming languages and ensure high-quality code through reviews and version control
  
• Build, tune, and evaluate machine learning models to support various business applications
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), data cleaning, and visualizations to interpret trends and patterns
• Present data science concepts and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  
• Lead small projects, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to team initiatives
• Deploy and monitor models, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure model accuracy over time

Requirements

• Proven experience in data science with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for data science applications
  
• Skilled in machine learning algorithms and proficient in data analysis and visualization
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to explain technical details clearly
• Experience with MLOps, including CI/CD pipelines and model deployment
