About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist to join our team at RHB Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and transforming data, designing algorithms, generating insights, and supporting decision-making across the organization. You will play a key role in developing data-driven solutions, collaborating across teams, and implementing analytics best practices to drive business impact.
What you will be doing
Extract and transform structured and unstructured data to generate features, derive impactful insights, and visualize information.
Design and implement algorithms to provide one-off or continuous recommendations, supporting human and/or machine-led decision-making.
Apply best practices in modular architecture, loosely coupled design, and agile development/continuous deployment principles.
Contribute to bank-wide analytics best practices and demonstrate efficiency in data-driven solutions.
Develop technical architecture for data applications and analytics platforms in collaboration with relevant agile teams.
Implement features, algorithms, and insights into data applications together with data engineers.
Collaborate effectively across teams to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
What we’re looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics functions; banking experience is an advantage.
Strong technical expertise in machine learning, feature engineering, and data analysis.
Experience with agile development and DevOps practices.
Hypothesis-driven, critical, and evaluative thinking with sound business understanding.
Ability to partner and collaborate effectively across teams to drive results.
