Data Scientist

Shipt, Inc. seeks a full-time Data Scientist. This role uses analytical approaches to design, develop, and
evaluate machine learning models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the
data.Req: This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science,
Statistics, or Data Science and 1 year of experience analyzing data in data warehouses and developing
machine learning models for inference and forecasting. Must have 12 months of experience with each of the
following: (1) designing, developing, testing and implementing data warehouse and BI solutions and
platforms including real-time data pipeline, data visualizations, interactive reports and custom ad-hoc
reporting; (2) developing batch, real-time and streaming analytics pipelines with data from event data
streams, NoSQL and APIs and integrating reports and dashboards into external applications; (3) working on
customer data platforms including Segment and implementing Web Analytics Tools including Amplitude
and Adobe Analytics; (4) working with Data Ingestion and Transformation platforms including DBT and
Pentaho; and (5) working with the following tools and technologies: Python, numpy, pandas, Snowflake,
Tableau, Kafka, Flask, FastApi, and Streamlit. Will accept experience gained before, during or after
Master’s program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Telecommuting available from
