Data Scientist- Digital Marketing

ImpactAs a Data Scientist on the Marketing Data Science team at Shipt, you will be responsible for shaping and growing marketing intelligence for Shipt via quantitative analysis, modeling and experimentation, shaping business decisions and the companies core marketing capabilities.
Every day you will work on developing and refining marketing mix models (MMM) and multi-touch attribution models to measure marketing effectiveness across channels. You will perform structured quantitative marketing analysis, interpreting and synthesizing data to generate actionable business recommendations as well as identify and evaluate audience segmentation strategies and targeting approaches.

• 1+ year professional work experience with various types of digital marketing, including but not limited to paid search, SEO, email, display, and paid social.

• 1+ year professional experience developing marketing attribution modeling, marketing mix modeling (MMM)

• Experience developing marketing optimization algorithms and conducting robust analyses on clickstream and campaign performance data.

• Ability to define and track KPIs for marketing performance and budget efficiency.

• Proficiency in experimental design and causal inference.

• Experience building data visualization and report dashboards

• Python or R, SQL, and enterprise reporting tools such as Tableau.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader.  Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Employees will also be eligible to receive discretionary vacation for exempt team members, paid holidays throughout the calendar year and paid sick leave.  Other compensation includes eligibility for an annual bonus and the potential for restricted stock units based on role.

Pay Range:

$83,300-$166,800

All other locations:

$73,900-$147,900

Please note that the salary range above is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
